Does DokuScan also work with handwritten forms?
Yes. DokuScan combines OCR with AI extraction. Both printed and handwritten entries are recognized — even with imperfect handwriting. For lower scan quality, DokuScan shows a confidence score per field so you can check exactly where uncertainty exists.
Can I import the data directly into my HR system?
DokuScan exports as Excel (XLSX), CSV and JSON. These formats are supported by all common HR systems — Personio, DATEV, SAP HR, Agenda HR, or simple Excel-based workflows. The column names in the export exactly match the field names you defined in the template.
Is personnel data stored in a GDPR-compliant way?
Yes. All documents and extracted data are stored exclusively on German servers. Your documents are never used to train AI models. Every account is fully isolated — no other user can access your data.
What happens if the form is hard to read?
After extraction, DokuScan shows a confidence score per field. Fields with low confidence are flagged and can be corrected manually before export. That way you stay in control without having to check the entire document manually.
Does DokuScan work for all languages?
Yes. Documents in German, English, Polish, Spanish and French are processed. Output is delivered in your chosen language — independent of the document's original language.
