Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate template for every customer?
Not necessarily. The AI finds the fields regardless of layout. For customers with very different order formats, a separate template per customer can improve the result.
Can I transfer orders directly into my ERP?
DokuScan exports CSV, Excel and JSON with your column names. These formats can be imported into common inventory and ERP systems. An automated connection is possible via the API in the Business package.
Does it work with fax orders?
Yes. Scanned faxes and photos are processed via OCR. With poor quality, the confidence score shows which values should be checked.
How much does one order cost?
One page uses one credit. In the Starter package, 100 credits cost EUR 9. The analysis for template recognition is free.
Where is the data stored?
On servers in Germany (Frankfurt), GDPR compliant, separated from other accounts and never used to train AI models.
